Middle Finger

“Hey baby” he opens the door

In his swim trunks with a cigarette smokers tone

I hide myself in a black mask

Red hood like I always would

Just give me my Culver’s concrete

I don’t mean to sound haste

But that sunshine man across the street

Served me an uncomfortable stare as if I’m a treat

hairy toes exposed through his rainbow flip flops

“You got a boyfriend?”

None of your damn business

He heard

But I knew I should have mentioned a lesbian lover to figuratively stretch my middle finger across this cigarette nightmare holding the door for me.

Lovely Lies,

You whisper in my ear

Yet scream in my mind.

I need two sets of eyes maybe then I’ll catch all your lies.

Shut the fuck up.

Turn off your wind,

Shut down your mind.

You’re only a waste of time.
